Congratulations to the new city councilors. One take away from this election for the new class would be to make sure they can spend the proper amount of time on the new position if you have other obligations that may get in the way – get rid of them. Also, spend more time listening - and less talking. Lastly make sure when a constituent emails or call you - you get back to them ASAP.
Remember - you are there to represent - not dictate. If you think the opposite - or are planning to go about things differently - take a look at the two relatively new councilors that were voted out yesterday - next time, it could easily be you.

I was at skepsis' campaign headquarters watching the numbers come in; I was actually surprised that Mcdonald's let us hang out there for so long without buying anything, but skepsis had told his crowd of supporters that if he won he'd buy each of us anything we wanted off of the dollar menu...I guess that $4 in crinkled bills was all that was left in the campaign fund, and seeing as Councilor Donahue was there pretending to be two different people (scheming to get a burger AND fries, I suspect) I figured I'd take what I could get, but I digress...
In any event, I never DID get my McChicken out of the guy, and as we heard the final numbers steam started blowing out of his ears like in a cartoon and he mumbled something about ex-cops, "something in the river water" and Internet gadflies. That's the point at which I decided to flee the premises, but fortunately his wife called and said that seeing it was past 9:15 pm he was up way too late and needed to get home...NOW.

What I didn't figure on was your riding in with your head jammed up some big ass ex-cop's butt - you blended in with his SSOs (Sanitary Sewer Overflow)! Too bad from your position you missed the ex-cop's new fling - While his old fling was under the knife, he hooked up with this newly divorced dark haired beauty and brought her from the coffee commando's headquarters next door to participate in my multiplication of the loaves and McFishes. I asked him about the $15,000.00 repay and he told me something was gnawing on his insides. Since I personally know he has no conscience - we all assumed it must have been you! As he heard the three newly elected councilors were going to question those numbers - given these tough fiscal times - steam started blowing out of his ears, and excessive liquid pressure built in his bowels, to the point it caused you to be expelled from the crack of his sass clear back to the coffee commandos headquarters all the while drenched in what appeared to be a coffee colored substance and we clearly heard you uttering something about ex-cops, "something in the river water" and Internet "crack" escapees. Since I'm fully aware of the keen police work in this city. I didn't want to have to spend $5,000.00 to clean a "Hall" mess that was solely your responsibility. So I had my beautiful wife of 27 years pick me and some signs up until 9:15pm with the intent of delivering them to your garden site. It was then I realized, I'll need them in two years - for the first will be last and the last will be first! Besides, a donut, fecal eating mouse would never eat from an octopussy's garden. Since you had a rough night, I'll make it up to you. Meet me at your office tomorrow for a cleansing dip in your heated spa - you supply all the amenities and I'll supply one sign as your life raft. I didn't get hired because I didn't work hard enough - pure and simple - not because I've had cyper discourse with a mouse who cannot comprehend fact from fiction - truth from lie - integrity from dishonesty - guilt & fear from happiness - mistrust and doubt from transparency and accountability. I've achieved 50% of what I set out to accomplish without working hard - can you imagine the possibilities if I put some effort into it! I do owe a debt of gratitude to the people who supported me - Thank God I still have the $4.00 in my pocket - enough to buy stamps for letters to be sent out. Don't you ever wonder why someone would spend over 70% of what the job pays to get hired? I know I do - kind of makes you wonder Mr. Carrot why so few heeded my message of encouraging thrift and discouraging a tax and spend mentality. HANG ON! I guess I was just a man born out of time - conversing with a mouse. Bye Bye.

Mary 5 names and Macek moved from the left side of the TV screen to the right. That is a positive move, maybe next time off the screen. We lost 3 councilors but didn't really lose much. Now the NEW ones have to perform to keep our votes. It was really nice having a selection to pick from instead of the 9 or 10 usuals and then 5 or 6 duds. Good luck and be prepared for some rough waters and tough decisions.

Well to Bad I was off by two Councilors at least we have 3 new Haverhill City Councilors to bad Mr.Macek made it back in but at least he made 9th Place & the voters have spoken And do not want him to be out of town when there is a City council meeting on Tuesday nights.
Poor Kenny he did not make it this time but says he will be running every two years well good luck with that.
all of the people I voted for won last night!!
Now Lets move Haverhill Foward and see how well the new Haverhill City Council will do!! and I hope they can work well with the Mayor!!

Well, first let me say I Know most councilors and like them. They're very nice. But politicaly I disagree with them.
I'm not surprised with what happend. For years pols in this city have been too cozy with bisiness and people side enough is enough.
I like Kenny Quinbe and was planning on voting for him, but he voted against the hotel tax. The mayor said he was going to use the money to pay for a police officer.

Why on earth did the citizens of Haverhill re-elect that babbling Dave Hall again. The man is a complete waste of time and energy. Watching him at the councel meetints is embarrasing to say the least.
