I dont have hate for any particular thing. Im not angry. I just grow tired and weary off people leaching off the system and then cry foul when something happens. I grow tired of people coming to this country with their hands out expecting to someone to take care of them. I grow tired of people not caring of the consequences they face when they do things that affect the whole population. Day in and day out you see it in Haverhill, Methuen and Lawrence. People do not care about themselves and their surroundings. They think that its theirs for the taking and sh** on it. Maybe if self respect was taught in the classroom and respect for others their wouldnt be this. If parents would be parents for once instead of making a child to collect a few more bucks then maybe people wouldnt be "Angry".

Im sure you walk around blindly and accepting of all things. Some of us arent we are tired of the thug like mentality of idiots in the cities. Like I said in my previous post to you and your brethren like to post here even though the incident happened in Haverhill. Although one of the people that died was from Lawrence. Lets face it Lawrence isnt exactly the shining gem of the commonwealth nor is Haverhill for that matter. As far as you not getting any assistance great you should be a shiny example of what to do when your a single mother unfortunately the other 98% dont look at it that way. Too many mothers get knocked up so they can get more cash and more section 8 to live off the system and not worry about anything other than smoking pot and looking for a free ride. How do I know .. my sister was one of them she was dating a Dominican drug dealer from Lawrence who was selling cloned cell phones ( yah you remember that) and cocaine to the tune of 5k a week while she was getting Section 8 and WIC for the kids she had with him so dont tell me I dont know how the system works. I am surprised at the lack of human compassion here. Yes, this young man made a poor choice when he sped off…he also paid the ultimate price and lost his life and caused the death of another human being (his passenger). The problem in this world is that people are quick to pass judgment, and are full of hateful feelings. Does it make you feel better about yourselves when you say such evil thing? hahaha...that's cute ANTI. My children are grown and both attend Ivy League colleges. They are both traveling abroad this summer helping to build schools in small villages in Africa. Lucky for me I never had to apply for any assistance from the goverment...but to those who do - I never judge them. It's the goverment that has made it so readily avaliable and easy to stay on...so if you have a problem with people taking advantage then exercise your right to vote. Maybe you should try and volunteer sometime to help and incourage young woman to better themselves...just a thought. Probably too much work for you. :)

In Texas you get 5 years mandatory for running from the police, and the jails out there aren't country clubs like they are here, maybe if they had that hanging over their heads they wouldn't have run from the police and still be alive today! No one stated facts. So there's nothing to get straight. But, it's as plain as day, they were doing something, they didn't want to be caught doing. It's hard to feel sympathy to people who couldn't stand up and take responsibility for what they did.

Tell us something "good" about these two and, I might think differently. But, from what I've read so far. It's their own fault.

It's sad when people defend them, because "they took care of their kids". YOUR SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS!!!!! You don't get brownie points for doing something you SHOULD be doing. You get points when you go ABOVE AND BEYOND. Now, if you told me they volunteered at the local homeless shelter. I might think twice about assuming the worst.

I'll think about the families the next time I look at my paycheck and see all the taxes that are taken out. Or, when I open my insurance bill and see my rates have gone up.

Funny how you disregard the facts and try to mortalize this situation. This boy, as he did not have the mantality of a man, at 12:30 am (where he was not home with the family he so endeared, but instead out with a buddy speeding around!), got pulled over, and because he obviously either disregarded the law OR had something to hide...either way we see it...had no regard for the law or the public, took off, put himself and his supposed friend...whereas I hope I never have a friend who would do this to me...and killed not only himslef, but took the life of a supposed friend. Where is the greatness in this person? Because he is a father? Oh, but at 12:30 am is out with the bud...a good guy? Maybe...but had no respect for the law, the public, or his friend....risked the life of anyone near him and fortunately did not harm the people who lived in the house or no innocents were walking in his path, because he would have taken them out to with no regard...

To the family of this driver...hopefully you can teach the children better than he...to the passengers family, I'm so sorry your lost one had a friend like that, if he didn't, he'd be alive, and you and your families hearts would not be broken...

Antihaverhill, I actually answered a few of your questions. Since I do not know him personally, I cannot answer all of them. I do not know why my comment was not posted. Might have been deleted? Who knows.

2. What positive impact have they had on their communities? They had a huge impact! Because of this tragedy, we need to think twice about our actions. If we have a problem with the law, we should not risk being in the streets and having to make the choice of running because of it. Overall, we have learned not do disobey the law in a major way because something like this might happen. We have learned not to run from police because it can end up in a bad situation.


3. Why werent they home with their kids and women?? Obviously if you read some of the comments people have left, one of the persons that passed away had a pregnant wife. Are you telling me you never go out and stay at home 24 hours, 7 days a week with your children and\or wife? WOW. That's incredible!

4. Why did they run from the cops?

Obviously they ran for a reason. Maybe they were scared of the police? Maybe they had illegal substances or items in the vehicle? Maybe they had warrants or just did not want to deal with police because most police officers always find a way to lock someone up even if they have to violate our rights.

It's unfortunate that these two individuals perished in this crash but no matter how you look at it, on the same side of the coin,they ran from the law and 1 of 2 things will happen. Either the police will sucessfully end the pursuit, or or the suspects will end it themselves by crashing into something or someone. No matter how you look at it, there is no happy ending to this story. Butchering the bozos who get caught is one thing, but butchering people who die in a car crash is something else. It's obvious of the fact that when we read articles like this, it makes us angry, and it does to a point. but you have to remeber, these two men had families who in the process of mourning. Leave it at that, because when you fuel the fire of the ones suffering from their deaths, it sometimes starts a fire that you can't put out. Then, it blows up in your face and it takes off your head. Now I can see butchering them if they were sucessfully caught and arrested, I know, I do it myself and I'm not afraid to admit it. But these two men had family members that loved them, weither they were bad or not, they are gone now, let it go and have some respect for the ones who have to mourn their losses.

Amazing.....you lost your sister to a hit and run driver. The way these two morons were driving down River St, they could have easily taken out more than one pedestrian. Let's look at the facts.
No matter what these two individuals upbringing, at some point,
we all have to take responsibility for our own actions.
The driver of this vehicle made the decision to try and outrun the police. I am sure if he had gotten away from the police, it would have been a funny story told over and over to tell all his friends until the next time.
There will be no next time. The driver made the decision to run,
which I'm sure he did not think would cost him and his friend their lives, but it did.
There is only one judge that this individual will face.
Thank goodness it is not us.
Rather than make ill comments about wheter or not these two individuals were bad or not is missing the point.
Please spend time with your own children and family to make sure they know right from wrong. Teach them manners.
Making rude and idiotic comments about these two individuals will not change what is happening all over this country.
Fathers and mothers need to take more responsibility for their chidren.
Only then, change will occur.
