The Eagle-Tribune: Our view: Tampering charge merits bail revocation

cityworker2 · 1 year agoTragedy. As a father, I can only imagine the trauma and angst in both families. My daughter knew Deidre, and I've known the Mentus family off and on thru the years. Accident? yes. Repercussions of actions? Absolutely. Murder? No. Manslaughter? Ok. It doesn't appear (as of yet) to have been intentional. My heartfelt condolences to the Budzyna family. Bob and Ellen, I wish you luck in dealing with your situation as well.

ANONYMUS · 1 year agocityworker, you are totally right, murder no, manslaughter maybe but unintentional and once the lovely reid gets re-elected does anyone want to make a bet that a plea is offered by the prosecution? all of the so called witnesses who admitted using drugs that night are basically going to be considered non-credible witnesses. and knowing the families off and on through the years as you have cityworker you know that his family is not a bad family and no one in his family ever said deidre's was either. but it must also be remembered and there is no disrespect for anyone in this thought, but if all the witnesses were using drugs that night and they say adam was as well would that not mean that deidre did too? and before anyone accuses me of taking sides i'm not I am just trying to make some sense out of something where not one but TWO families will have to live with forever. say what you want about these kids but all the $h-t you are talking about them incriminates deidre aslo as being a drug user and heading down the wrong path as well so everyone should think twice when they want to make her look like a saint and paint him as the total devil

sandowncitizen · 1 year agoHe may not of intended to kill Deidre, but if he didn't have a gun that didn't belong to him in the first place, and if he wasn't high, as usual, Deidre would still be alive. He didn't murder her, but he did KILL her, accidently or not, and has shown NO remorse, he's only been thinking of a way out of this, only has himself in mind, and if he had the chance, he'd kill again.

freddie · 1 year agodear sandowncitizen you are so wrong. wait for all the facts. the other kids in that car that night were high on herion mr mentus was not in the car with them when they were doing drugs. it was in the court papers
-
ANONYMUS · 1 year agoI read that too freddie that mr mentus was at home when the kids were doing drugs is waht it said in the court papers and sandowncitizen how do u know he has shown no remorese? have you been to visit him as other people i know have as a matter of fact there is a rumor going around that one of the so called witnesses tried visiting him using a false name and id be I said it once and I wil say it again if these 'witnesses' were all using drugs then that will make them non credible witnesses. their credibility is shot and after the election in nov. if reid gets in again or who ever gets in will probebly have to pleed it down to a less serius charge
