Warmest thoughts towards James' , his family, his teammates, the New Haven community, the Merrimack soccer team, and the Merrimack medical staff. All are in difficult positions, all have seen a horrendous accident occur in a game that is not supposed to end like this. I hope that James remains strong and pulls through this ordeal (just look to Joe Exeter for some inspiration!!) and that his family is able to stay strong as well. To the Merrimack soccer player, I hope that you too are doing alright and that this does not take a huge toll upon you. It was not your fault, you were playing the game that you grew up playing and accidents happen in the life of sports. What all the Merrimack players and sports medicine staff saw and delt with is absolutely tragic and I hope that all involved are doing well.
