likable? i am sure a more disliked student by teachers has ever walked the halls of mhs.
athlete? chris never played a sport you had to actually make the team. he was never in shape for football and had little baby injuries so he couldn`t practice. maybe your talking about rec basketball...no couldn`t be that,he never finished a game because he got thrown out of every one for swearing at refs.
his bad character IS what got him beat up.

this blog gets funnier and even more ludacris as i read on, As someone who was ACTUALLY a witness to this event, how about a non bias opinion

1. Im pretty sure everyday Internal posession cases dont result in the subject needing 4+hours of medical attention including a concussion and broken ribs? You've all said it yourself people, the kid is not small nor delicate. Must have been a real effective "police takedown" to cause all of this?

3. Flaws of the article- As a witness to the whole process of the arrest i personally witnessed Chris being tasered with absolutely no warning. Chris was never "kindly" asked to leave.

I don't know about you people but when officers "kindly gesture" me to leave a cop infested event because of UNDERAGE drinking I dont immediatly start shouting obsenities and get in their faces...Neither did Chris

If you people could only see the comparison of Chris BEFORE he was sent to the PD and AFTER you would immediatly lose the bias opininion you currently have

What makes this kid so great. What did he do to deserve this much attention... I mean seriously... like others have stated if he did the right thing and shut the hell up and sat down and did what was asked of him this would have never happened.

I wonder what his father has to say about all of this... considering that he is a cop... and if he agreed that what SPD was the correct thing to do, if all you idiots would still be on here complaining that SPD did something wrong and that they are out to get you.

What does this have to do with the solomon family? Yeah beating a teenager with 2 other professionally trained officers (3 in total) and not only did they beat him and break several of his ribs and mangle his face but they tasered him too, while he was handcuffed and left defenselessly until he was put in the hospital. SOUNDS LIKE JUSTICE WAS SERVED THERE.....MAYBE IF YOU WERE A SLAVE BACK IN THE 1800's.

Still Disgusted --- You have a very valid point. Even though I personally detest drunks and/or big mouths who wind up causing problems in public , NO ONE deserves the degree of brutality that this guy got -- NO ONE! We all know cops will smack someone around a bit, and unfortunately that's life --- but you're right, this beating went over the top given the injuries reported, and hopefully an impartial investigation will lead to some needed restraint by police in the future --- hopefully.

You know what, I agree with you "both sides wrong", but what has to be inforced is the level of brutality that was brought on Chris. This is a perfect excessive force case and I just hope that justice is brought to these cops. And as for the man who is clearly a cop but informs otherwise, get a clue you are a cop in well-to-do Salem where the most danger your going to come encounter is a high school party or arresting someone for a dime bag of pot. You have a better chance of being hurt walking into any Lawrence store than spending 30 years on the fairy force of the Salem Pd.
