I totally agree with Robin, however, there are people out there that can work and are scamming the system. I have no idea what your issues are, but if you can be at home on the phone, on the computer, taking care of a child, there is no reason why you can't go to work. Even if it's for 2 hrs a day. We should be helping those who help themselves. That's what is wrong with todays society, get whatever you can for free, milk the system even if you don't need it. Why should you work when we who do work foot the entire bill for you. I would love to stay home all day long, phone, computer, kids, maybe some house work and have some one else pay all the bills. Who's the fool here?

    Dear Robin,
This is Joe and I stand by my letter 100%. I can think of 99% of people on disability can perform some type of work. You are at home with a child you can do volunteering from home on your computer or phone. We are all tired and do not have as much time as you do because we are out of homes at a job for 8 to 9 hours a day. I am not heartless and I know some things are beyond our control but you sound like you are a victim. I am glad they check on a reguler basis that your disability is legit. But it does sound like you can perform some duties. Who does your laundry, housekeeping, grocery shopping? If it is you then you have proven you could do some kind of work.

If you are able to take care of a young child, you are able to work.
