George Bush has been in office for over seven years. The first six, the economy was fine. Almost two years ago consumer confidence stood at a two-and-a-half-year high, regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon, the unemployment rate was 4.5%, the Dow Jones hit a record high, Americans were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large.

But Americans wanted 'Change' because the Democrats told them things weren't good, and that Bush was a moron. With the help of the leftist media, they pounded that into the American psyche. Keep making fun of Bush, tell Americans he's an idiot, tell Americans they deserve more, they deserve better, they deserve CHANGE.

So, in 2006, they voted in a Democrat Congress and yes, we got 'Change'. Let's see now, where do I begin: In the past year consumer confidence has plummeted, gasoline is now $3-plus, unemployment is up 6.1% and climbing, Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 trillion dollars and prices are still dropping, One percent of American homes are in foreclosure, $2.5 trillion dollars has evaporated from their stocks, bonds, and mutual funds investment portfolios.

Yes, in 2006 America voted for 'Change', and we sure got it!

Remember, the President has no control over any of these issues, only Congress. And what has Congress done in the last two years? Absolutely nothing. And now the Democrat candidate, B. Hussein, claims he is going to really give us 'Change' along with a Democrat Congress. Just how much more 'Change' do you think we can stand?

you just said that bush gets out of jail free for invading iraq because of something a senator said. invading a country on the one hand, words on the other. people fighting and dying, people speaking and thinking. am i wrong? blame the media all you want for others' biases, it doesn't reduce yours. instead of accepting the fact that both parties cause problems, you are no better than you purport the media to be by simply slamming the democrats right back in response to some criticism.

and you shouldn't threaten to puke so much, people who say stuff like that make me want to puke!

Why do you say that? Because the media told you he was bad? As I said above, his approval rating is still better than congress.....And, as for VP picks....two words, Al Gore....
I often ask liberals what's worse...to vote in a bafoon to be president? or to LOSE TWICE to that bufoon? Kind of like, who's more the fool...the fool or the fool who follows the fool.

I agree our president deserves alot more respect then he gets from the public and media. I don't agree with some of his later year decisions in the office but I respect him as the president of this great nation.

The economy? HA!!! Blame that on Democratically controlled congress who chose to ignore warning signs....
