The Eagle-Tribune: Haverhill drug bust leads to arrest on Orchard Street

  • Walter Winchell · 2 months ago
The H.P.D. has been cracking the whip hard down there the last couple of months and it seems to be making a difference. Good job!

It seems to me everday I read the ET, the HPD is busting a lot of people. Wether it's 5 grams or 15 lbs, it doesn't matter because the bottom-line is the scumbags are being taken of the street and surely, they're going to be on a list on who to watch. Personally, they oughtta put them on a list on who they should harrass enough to just get them to leave the bleeping city.

How long has Haverhill had a "narcotics squad?" I don't remember seeing anything about it. Did I miss a mayoral ribbon cutting?

Does this mean that we also have a "hooker squad" a "kids loud drinking party squad," a "graffiti squad," "a bank robbery squad," a "stolen GPS investigations squad" and a "make sure the reclusive chief never has to actually meet a real live civilian" squad?

shorty sucks. if he was a real man he would bust people who are dealing on an every day bases. there have been multiple tips regarding drug activity in my neighborhood and he hasn't done squat. Also people in my neighborhood have been reporting new hampshire tags and they still haven't done any thing about that. in the winter time its a pain in the butt because you have to park on one side of the road.

Another older man poisoning our children. Has anyone noticed that when a drug pusher is arrested they are usually older men? I hate them. Put them away for a very long time. Haverhill PD are doing an excellent job catching this scum. I hope the judges will do their job now.

Its not like South Elm and South Pleasant Street Neighborhoods are the top destinations in Bradford........ so be glad you sold your House of 14 years get your property value while you can ..Just remember the Police can only be in so many place at one time.

A Month Long investigation to seize 5 grams and $1k? Is it me or does that seem like an excessive use of resources? Don't get me wrong, I don't want cocaine on our streets anymore then my Haverhill Neighbors do but if this is the highest priority the Street Crimes Unit is dealing with I'd have to say we're in good shape Haverhill!!!
  • Carrot · 2 months ago
    If he's a dealer then it's not merely 5 grams; it's a rotating inventory.
  • RightWing Radical · 2 months ago
Good Score Guys!!!! 5 grams= probation
  • bigkahunah · 2 months ago
Any score is a GOOD SCORE!
    Keep up the good work!!
  • RU4Real · 2 months ago
5 grams may equal probation -- but it's 5 grams not going up the nose or being smoked by our kids.

HPD...... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!!
