Sorry, I don't get it. Could the public get some clarification please.

    Web Budget = $0

    There's ya clarification.

A "budget" in media speak is basically a schedule of what's coming up in the next edition, etc. Usually happens in editorial meetings but they also use it for web as well.

I'm pretty sure this will be pulled soon.

All of this for the "web budget" yet there are sections that are not updated for days and character recognition flaws in the software? Sounds like a good use of money to me! With all of the "watch dog" type of "news" the ET reports on local communities and their spending, should there not be outrage about the budget here?

No Lars, because the Eagle Tribune is a private company. What they do with their money is their business, good, bad or indifferent. Quite honestly, if the Eagle Tribune is such a bad publication, why do you continue to read it? There are other options for news in the Merrimack Valley. Either that, or if you think you can do it better, I'd encourage you to start your own publication/media outlet and try to do it better.

I do work in a media outlet (tv, radio, and web) thank you for thinking I'd be good at it.

Let's put it another way, if Andover or North Andover spend $.25 too much for toilet paper, it is front page news. The website, which is mainly funded by readership/viewership, can be second guessed by the consumers and those who provide revenue to keep it going. I just find it a bit hypocritical.
